Oh my good god.
I keep discus myself in a South American Biotope.
Iv been trying to get hold of wild for a VERY long time.
What magnificant fish you have. Interested in selling a few?
Dan.

WOW Amazing looking Discus! What size tank do you have for those beauties?

hi dan

you are a lucky man

as you live in South Wales
because i got them from a hobbyist wild discus importer who is based in south wales
will give you his number this evening

very very nice at my lfs they have wild ones from brazil in the back very nice ones

hi not all fish are wild in my tank atm there is 1 blue cobalt and 2 pigeon bloods left

but eventually will go

the tank is a juwel rio 400 with 11 discus 1 nhamunda blue ,1 semi royal , 1 heckel
3 peru spottet green , 2 alenquer,1 blue cobalt ,2 pigeon bloods

ph 6.8 ,kh 3 gh 7 , resting tds of 280 ppm

Love the Heckels, the only wilds I have are the young Santarem discus, they are around 3/4 inches now and growing nicely.

I know bugger all about Discus so dont take offence, but how do you know they are wild, as they look rather plain compared to ones ive seen that werent wild?

so the plain, duller ones are wild where the bright colourfull ones arent?

The aabove images you said are wild Discus...they seem pretyy dull compared to some bright red and blue ones ive seen that were tank bred, hence my thought that the wild ones above looked dull

Had a look at that site, they look ok i spose, not as colourfull as id have expected thats all.

everyone to their own.
