I got the scientific name from the lfs. It's a Liposarcus anisitsi. aka (Snow King Pleco) (Royal Pleco).

Scotcat Says 14".

Mongabay Says to 24" max.

Aquaria Central Says 16" max.

I may be getting a larger tank for free so i'll keep it, the college tank already has a very large pleco in it anyway.

'Snow king' pleco is Pterygoplichthys ambrosettii, not Liposarcus anisitsi.

Can you get anymore photos of it?

Those websites seem to think so, just shows how unreliable they are.

Got the same pleco and it is now 2 years old and seems stable at around 10" (nose to tail tip), don't see any more growing going to happen now.

He sits in a 3 foot tank quite happily.

a 10 inch plec in a 3 foot tank?

and your surprised it isn't growing anymore?
