this is my 3ft community with about 10 cories, 4 rummynose, 1 krib and 2 danios. its been running about 6 weeks now. some plants need seeing to but my phosphate levels are under control now so hopefully it wil start to look better. any opinions welcome, I love looking at others tanks on here so I thought I should do the same. excuse the phone pic quality (SPV M600) but the macros came out better than expected from my phone!

You should get a female for that male krib becasue they dont like to be alone.

i did buy a pair to begin with but the male harassed the female so much, i took her out to another tank but she died after a couple of days. I am getting 1 or 2 more soon.

thanks - looks a bit bare as the cories like being in the caves and they can swim behind the slate too (at the bottom there is a couple of inches) but when they are out they swim all over the tank. My phone isnt quick enough to capture the fish, if you look hard you can see the rummy nose and the danios. i was thinking of getting some more Danios of a different type... any suggestions?

Looks good :good: I'd get a few more danios in there, just two must be lonely and they add a bit of cool fast paced action to the top half of your tank!

why not go for a pair of angels?, they would look good in that tank :good:

i like the look of the tank as is, i actually like fairly bare tanks :)

i was looking after someones angel while I sorted thier tank out for them and I have to say it looked lovely! the thing is I thought the tank was too small for angels (36x12x15) and it needed more height? do they grow fast?

thanks - I think its becasue most fish are bottom/mid range with just the danios having the penthouse to themselves  but I have allowed for theier full sizes and the cories are still small.

That looks great; so clean and simple! You're right, though, at only 28 gallons (by my calculations, anyway) and 1 ft tall, it's too small for angels.
