got two new girls a weekend, a little whit with blue n red fins, looks almost identical to my pk female, only more blue in her and like half the size, i didnt realise how big my pk female is utill i saw her next to these girls!! i think the new white girl is also a pk, but mabey someone could confirm this.
the other is a tiny wee copper, blue, white marbaled girl, i think she is vt but im not sure.
after a shakey start, they are doing well. the mabaled one was being picked on in the tank by a pk female and she took a fair beating from the other new girl in the bag on the way home. ive recently had problems with mouth fungus in new bettas, particularly females, so as a precaution ive been treating all new bettas with anti fungus and finrot. i gave these two too strong a dose though and almost killed them. but they pulled through alright and are looking picture of health, although the marbaled one has a few ripps in her tail and anal fin.
so... vedict on tails types?
