Jbj All-in-one Co2 Regulator - Help!

looking for some advice...

took my jbj regulator apart in an attempt to take the nut off that attaches it to the tank (there was something inside stopping it from turning at very low resistance)...anyway now i'm not certain the gauges are in the right position now. i have attached a photo - did i put them back on backwards? does it even matter?

on another note - i have my co2 going through silicon tubing to a connect at the in on my eheim 2215. seems to work well dispursing the co2. but at about 5 bubbles/sec my tanks are only lasting about a month. is that right?
