White Swordtail Is Pregnant

Hi

I posted yesterday about my white swordtail, I can see lots of little eyes looking out and there doesnt seem to by much room left. can you tell when they are about to give birth?

well with guppies i have found there stomach squares off, not sure about swords though as i haven't had them for a while, but seeing eyes clearly normally means soon

take a look at where the arrow is pointing , when this part of her starts to go almost square shaped then she is really close to dropping, she is almost at this point and by the way the shading of that area is in the pic she looks like she quite big,

as a guess i would say she could drop between tomorrow and 3 days time, if not sooner,it depends how many fry she is carrying, turning the temp up slightly will help her drop her fry and keep the lights off, seeing what you think are eyes doesnt mean she is close to dropping they are just the fry that you can see and nothing to do with the time factor, good luck
