Just a couple more pics. This time from my brackish aquarium. Just to show off my Archer, really. :hey: These are before and after shots. Apologies for the blur in the second pic!

19th October 2006. Archer has been introduced and has been in the tank for around a week. Frankly, looking a bit fed up and tatty.

Same Archer seven months down the line. I think he's great! :)

EDIT: Also, could anyone identify this Archer? I purchased him as Toxotes jaculatrix, but I'm sure he's Toxotes microlepis.

Lovely :) How do you feed these guys? Wonder if you could dangle a cricket on a stick over the tank and see if he shoots it :D That'd be pretty cool to see.

Thanks! :) When I do a water change, I press JBL NovoSticks onto the dry glass and he shoots them all down! Other than that, I feed him JBL NovoStick M, JBL NovoRift, fresh prawns, bloodworm, squid, brineshrimp and similar.

Looks like microlepis to me, but I am by no means an expert!

Id say he was a jaculatrix, doesent look like my microlepis (not enough markings and to many on the spine in the set pattern).
He looks superb, how big, 5"?
