No I don't think he is young, I believe he is a plakat or a roundtail same thing I think... but thanks for your compliment!

I bet he loves all of that swimming space!

Very nice betta but I think the pic is too dark for betta of the month. All I can really see is its shadow. A lighter picture might prove different though.
