Hi all,

I tried searching with no luck..

my question is how close can you have a plant to a heater...

will having a plant too close to a heater have detrimental effects ???

only coz im trying to hide the heater from sight by putting a plant infront of it ..

Thanks

Hi..I have plants near my heater...I dont believe the actual heater is hot to the touch. Dosnt seem to be burning my plants at all.

sweet ! ... another sydney sider !!!!

part of my plant is touching the heater ..

although plenty of water is flowing past the heater ??

anyone else???

heaters are not hot. The temp has to low enough that when fishes touch it, it should have no problem. So it actually only goes up to about 35-40c.
So unless your plant is wrapping around heater it's okay.
