I will take some tonight, as I did not have time last night. This was taken this morning as I was getting ready for work. I will try to get a nice one when its dark....and try to get close up of the clown loaches..

Thats a lot of direct sunlight on the tank! Unless you get blinds or move the tank you are going to have an almighty battle keeping the glass free from algae! Nice tank though!

Yeah I know, i do have blinds up against the door, just have not needed to have them pulled as of late, when the weather gets better, I agree they will have to stay pulled most of the time....

Just found this picture, showing the size of my old tank, and my new one together...left there whilst settling in my new tank. I had a hell of a job getting the temperature just right compared to my little tank.

Thats a nice set up ya have there...but thats the Juwel Vision ya got...the Rio has a flat front...you have the nice curved front!!

It looks really nice too!!

Did you bother to put in the internal filter into it?

Does a good external one do the job instead?

yeah me too i like it :)

yaeh v.nice tank i just bought one about 2 months ago currently housing a terrapin and a 5" plec to keep the algae down, but as was said i'd move it from there cause mine is in direct sunlight for about 3 hours of the day an my algea is getting outta control even with the plec, but have no space to move it elsewhere.

No i never did put the internal in, I think they was so much space, even on the little one I had an external... the little one had a fluvel 103, and the juwel has a 305, the new one its great for water changes all you have to do is shut it off pull the tubes out(they have valves) and point at a bucket, open the valve and let the syphoning start.....

I hated the squirty nozzle on the new filters, so I put a spray bar on it, like on the little one...

Is the colour of the wood dark?

See my house is completly wood, everything, and I want wood for my next tank, but worried about the colour. It has to be inbetween light and dark.

Its beech effect, they do a darkwood effect as well. I was going to get the rio, thats all I could afford and the missus liked the vision...so I decided to look thru aquarium classified, and this one came up for less than the rio 240....We spend so much more time in the dining room with it there....You will be proud of it when you get it..
