i think my little guy has built one after only being in his new tank for 3 days but im not sure its quiet thick does anyone have some good picture of a nest for me to look at

oh dont worry i used google image search and found a pic and it seems he's made him self a nest allready

Hey... just b/c they don't make a nest doesn't mean they're not happy

My lil guy seems very happy in his half of the tank but he hasn't blown a nest yet. He does lik watching the bubbles from the airstone though...
Not that that is the same thing cept for the bubbles part hehe

Yea, my 2 males only started a nest when a female was in sight. They dont have anything floating though which might be why there arent any in there usually.

i HAD AN AIRSTONE IN AGES AGO AND THAT ONE BETTA NEVER DID MAKE A BUBBLE NEST...COULDNT COMPETE WITH THE AIR STONE SO WHY BOTHER! sorry it is in caps cant be bovvered to alter it.

calm down guys, i know not all happy bettas blow bubbles, but i was trying to explain to spankone that its nothing to worry about and blowing bubbles is normal for male bettas to do.

some males will build HUGE nests! Some will never build them at all (even when breeding ) Lol, funny little fish bettas are
