link below to my reef tank if interested.

reef tank :D

gourami's and danios are both very friendly, and small tetras or just generally peaceful fish would go fine in their.

the loaches would also be fine.

be wary with that Jebo though, i get quite a few returns at my shop (albeit with the smaller ones, mainly involving the filter) and the starters for the lights aren't of the highest quality.

looks pretty nice so far :good:

Thanks for the response.
I know the set up of some of the all in one units are pretty basic, but the price i got it for was cheaper than i could of got a tank and stand made.
If or when needed i can quite easily add an external filter, still using the overhead spray bar for aeration.
As far as the lights go that was the first thing i looked at before i purchased it, and with a few slight modifications i should be able to fit a better quality and higher output lighting system with room for a couple of small extraction fans to keep the heat out.

no arguments about the price, they are great value :good:

for those smaller types of fish it's doubtful you would need to add extra filtration for some time, i've had trouble with one set up on display at work not being able to handle the load (of larger cichlids albeit) and the starters breaking very easily. but upgrading the lighting system as you say shouldn't be too difficult.

i imagine with regular tropicals all should run smoothly though
