Hello,
It has been awhile since I posted pics b/c I was busy with finals for school. My 10g has changed quite a bit, thanks to everyone for the advice.
Here is a link to the original pics of my 5 gallon hex tank
The results of testing the cycle on my 5 gallon tank, bio-spira made it faster!
The original pics of my 10 gallon tank, many changes since then
My 10g now has:
Penguin BIO-Wheel Mini Filter (100GPH)
Hagen 50w Submersible Heater
Blue Background
2 plastic plants
4 dwarf puffers!!!
Also, I added BIO-spira to the 10g when I added the puffers. I have been testing it and it finished cycling 5 days after adding the BIO-spira.
The only thing that has changed in my 5 gallon is the addition of small snails. I am hoping they start multiplying so I can feed them to the dwarf puffers in the 10 gallon. I do plan on putting a Hagen 25w submersible heater in the 5 gallon. It does stay within a safe temperature range already, but I think the heater will help keep fluctuations down. Also, if I can find them, I want to add 2 pygmy cories to the 5g.
