I think mine were 3 for £5. I wasnt really into guppies but really liked the brightness of the yellow on the snakeskins and the bluey colour of the others is very pretty too.

The average guppy price in the uk (south) is £1.95 for males and £1.50 for females.

I buy specilest line breed fish with true females so to keep unusual lines going.

I would pay between £5-10 for good lines, and have payed £20-30 for new lines in the past.

Well it depends on what u want

Developing your own strain can cost many £100's in tanks and live foods and heating costs, so letting some do it for u is better.

Really nice guppies you have there.

I have several at the moment and have become quite attached to them.

Pair of moscow blue guppies these are stunning fish woth a lot of money.

With as fast as fish breed, how quickly does a breed not become rare?

It depends on how good u are at rearing fish, it's easy to breed, but trying to rear qualtiy fish is more difficualt.

Males are in shops from time to time but females are very rare and getting a line breed fish at this time is still very difficualt.
