One will be stressed, they go a light gray when not happy - He should colour up as he settles in :)
 
Thanks A&C. He's an L318. Stunning fish.

Wow thanks so much for all the replies! IM jealous!:) Can you show me any pics of you pleco caves,i need some inspiration.
I have a lot of holes in my bogwood where my shrimp hang out lol but i dont think a leopard forg pleco could fit in them lol :lol:

I think though that the 174's might actually be L400's (we've got 4 that were imported as L173, I though they were 236's untill the L400's were classified)
(but Thats not for certain as I'm not as up on these new plecs - they all look too alike to me :))

The "318" is almost certainly a 333 - the 318 is blacker and whiter - the 333's are cream and brown.

We have 2 L260's. The first we got, was very shy and only started coming out for feeds after about 2 months. The second one however, wasn't as shy and spent her first few days in full view of everyone. Had the male almost a year now and the female about 7 months and they both come out almost every feed. The female also swims around a bit and doesn't mind me taking as many pics of her as I like.

Now I'm just a bit confused, as some of these look like my L168, butterfly/flounder plec.

Yep the markings are similar but the colours and plec shape are different - the 168s are quite a flat plec (hence the "flounder " name)

they are also a pale yellow / baige colour where as L134's are bright yellow (when happy)
