nice healthy looking fish everyone and good growth especially that rtg how big is it now paul?i love that set up it looks amazing,what fish are in there exactly?
my ornate at 4" then 10" about 6 months later

How did your bala only grow 2" in a year while it was young? Mine have grown prob 4 inches in the 6 monthes I've had them.......

O and paul, as I said before I love the RTG :good:

when i had balas they grew quite fast about 1" every 2 months id say

My bala is about 4 months and it has grown 2-3inch, just been givin them blood worms every few days, nothing special

They will eat anything pretty much IME. But mainly I stick mainly with small tropical granules, cichlid pellets, algae wafers, frozen brine shrimp, and the big ones will eat peas. I have tried freezedried bloodworms, freezedried krill, and flake, but with all of them floating on the top, they don't seem to get the fish's attention as much so i try to give sinking food and this makes it more of a chase for them to eat :good:

. Plus anything they don't get it good for rooting around in the sand later, they spend most of their time doing that :lol:
