its going to be stocked in an hour or so's time!, i have a filter in my smaller tank that will support the bioload and the bigger flters willbegin to build up the bacteria after a week or so, had a mis hap last night though forgot to put the stoptap in and had a leak  so imsoaking up water this mornin :(

Brilliant tank.
Soon though im sure you will be wanting to try bigger fish in that tank hehehehehe :shifty:

looking good so far... I have a 240 too... lovely tanks.

Just wondering why you've got an extra heater? there is one in the juwel filter... also, if you fiddle a bit you can actually fit an external out-take pipe in the back compartment of the juwel filter - meaning less equipment on show.

can't wait to see how it goes from here.

Jamie

Yer looks good, you mentioned getting a background soon - My advice is to get all black only. Really makes the fish stand out. :good:

All the best.

Ok little worried atm looking at my tank form the side i dont like the look of the tilt..... might require a draining and some cardboard under the front feet......th_DSC00472.jpg

so looks like its going to need a drain on the following is a pic with the few plants from the 15g and the fish if you can spot em!!

btw have any of you ever used cardboard to level out your tanks?
Greg

well its 240 liters i think tht is like 63 US gallons, whyu ask that mate?
Greg
Edit:
Im not a happy bunny..... going to strip down the tank and get some proper substrate for plants order some plants off the web and start over after i have re leveld the tank. Bit gutted but in the long run i wont be up in the middle of the night worrying about the slant of my tank....

Yes cardboard should be fine i needed to do the same to mine.
Luckily i thought about it before and checked with a spirit level first!!

Just make sure whatever it is that you put under gradually gets thinner or thicker.
Make sure its not a ridge if you no what i mean other wise theyll be alot of stress on that one part.

Sure youll be fine. Good luck,
