Just got back from the not so local fish store with a bag of aquatic goodies!
-Dwarf java fern
-Dwarf onion plants
-Java moss
-Bits of duckweed (tanks that had the plants in them were infested with duckweed )
I would post a picture but it looks like a plant bomb went off inside my tank. Its both a bit busy, and quite disorganized. I'll post a picture once my filter has a chance to suck up some of the bits floating about, and i have a better idea of where i'm going with it.
I do have a few questions though:
It's a ten gallon, with 2 15 watt incandescent bulbs, reletively high pH (8ish, coming down as i've just added a piece of driftwood), quite hard water, and epoxy gravel substrate.
should i look into setting up a co2 injector?
nutrient wise, what can i do to help out my little green friends?
UPDATE: A took a picture of the aftermath, two days later.
The cross shaped artifact is a rock with javamoss rubberbanded on. All through the foreground is java fern imbedded in the substrate. The front left corner and the center back are occupied by dwarf onion plants. The far back right corner is a lizard tail ivy, and the pretty looking ones in the middle are plastic
