I decided that i will make something similar to a journal of my new fish. I got him Saturday, december 2nd 2006 from Shark Aquarium. Every now and then i will take pictures of the fish and his tank to see how he has grown. Right now he is 6.5"

He is eating hikari food sticks.

Tank- 50 gallons (48" by 18" by 13")
I will try to hang the flourescent fixture above tank. I found the light in my basement buried under some old stuff and dust. Originally it was used to grow plants, it holds two 48" flourescent bulbs. The wood is to keep the lid down and hold the light up. They are scraps from building the stand.

I think space and he had a tussle about genus and names on the fish.

btw space, these guys remind me of snake heads somehow. any relation?

No. They are both fish though. This fish does take gulps of air like snakeheads.

Nice wolffish. My brother has a wollfish at his job"s fish tank. Its a common wolffish.

Oh i know. It seems on fishbase that there are two different fish under the pictures. I'm pretty sure mine is the right one, as the other one looks like it is an erythrinus erythrinus sp.
