This is my first fish tank what do u think dont be to harsh (some of the plants have been given to be by a friend and dont know if they are right for this tank)

I like your tank very much. You have laid it out with great artistry - the rocks look comfortable where you have put them and the variety and positioning of the plants seems natural - most welcoming to any fishes.
