May i compliment you on your tank!!!

It looks AWSUM!!!

If you don't mind me asking how much did it cost to set up your marine tank and how much is the monthly upkeep of it?

Well done again

Craig

thanks bud :D

to be honest it didnt cost a great deal, i bought the initial setup second hand, included the tank, 2 skimmers, 403 external canister, 5 powerheads, all the lighting, 25kg of live rock, all the test kits and some mature sand to kick start my cycle, all for £200.

i have probably spent another £200 on stock, salt, ro water and 3 new powerheads. i have just been easing into the marine world so i tried to keep the costs as low as poss, i spent on average about £15 a month since i have had it.

Looks great.. what are you going to be stocking coral wise?

to be honest i have no idea, i wouldn't mind a todey and some more mushers, maybe some riks. fingers crossed it will all be moved into a nicer tank soon. after a rio 180.

OOOOOOh Nice one, looks really natural too :good:

great tank and glad to see you are ot rushing into it . Got to say i realy like the rock layout makes it look like you have far more than 25KG in there . ver very nice top job .

is the live rock just sat on top of each other or is it glued/pined in some way . :good:

its all just stacked up, has a slight tilt towards the back so it kinda rests a little on the glass.

the large bit in the RH corner had all fused together when i bought it, but there are loads of little caves in there. really amusing watching my 2 yellow damsels go in 1 hole and pop out another.
