thanks man, i saw the pic.. it looks dark green.. i just bought this plant from 3 days..

maybe will look better later...

and about the lighting? i have 53 Gallon with 3 florescent X 30 Watt.. total 90 watt..

Is that enough?

i've CO2 system and EI ferts too..

guide me please, i really want to keep this grass...

Thanx

Yes, it looks like Lilaeopsis brasiliensis. This is a notorious algae magnet due to its slow growth even in high lighting, and ideal nutrients.

You may have success. You need to ensure the remainder of your tank is planted heavily to stand the best chance of success. More plants = less algae. From the photo it appears that you may not be planted very heavily.

I'd agree on the Lilaeopsis brasiliensis plant ID and the algae comment.

I've totally given up on this plant due to algae problems, I can get it tgrowing and sending out runners easy enough, but imine always suffers from algae ..... even when the rest of the tank is clear.

Just to note: If anybody is doing a brackish tank, Tropica say Lilaeopsis brasiliensis will tollerate brackish conditions.
