Ok, for Christmas I'm thinking about getting another 10 gallon that I can keep raising some snails to feed to my puffer, could I put a crab in the new snail tank with out any worries? And I'm going to get one of these homes for my puffer, but with one?

Personal opinion - the third one as it looks more natural than the others.

As time goes on algae will make the third look even more natural whereas the first and second will just look grimy.

The third would also be better as there is more than one entrance/exit.

Just my penny's worth.

no offense, but the first two look really cheesy and fake. the third is only a little better, at least it looks more natural and will be more puffer habitat like, so go with that. i used pufferpacks idea, took a shotglass (clean of course), and using aquarium sealant i glued gravel on the outside and sunk it into the gravel to make a much more natural looking cave (of course, thats for a dwarf puffer who is small and doesnt need much space, if these are for you green spot, make sure theyre big enougth for him to get in and out of................)

3rd is nicest.

also, i think crabs need heaters, whereas i think you could have snails without one -_-

Definately go for the third one. I had something similar looking to the first two in my tank when I first started up and after awhile it just started looking really gross. It fades and gets grimy and makes the tank look like its dirty. The third one will just get more natural looking as time goes on.
