Sold as L204 but looks nothing like the one in my Datz book. Any ideas as I can't find it in the book.I have 2 about 5" long.Shape of head says they are Panaque to me.Thanks

L204's like many other plecs come in a variety of patterns.
have you checked out planetcatfish and scotcat for more pics?
 
PFK did a feature on Panaques recently. From memory till i look at the mag, it could be an older lightning panaque, don't know the L number though.

Edit - Lightning... Flash... they all mean the same thing really!
 
L204 is the Flash Panaque/Plec, and that pic looks right for one, of you take into consideration what they say about them on PC:

A dark brown to black base coloration with very thin white to yellow vertical lines starting form the upper body and going to the lower body. As the fish grows lines tend to become broken to the point, sometimes, where they become spots. Fins have thin white to yellow bands. Juveniles have rather white lines, these lines tend to turn yellow as the fish gets older.
