Hey Everyone. Gonna post a pic of my aquarium. only had it since about 5 weeks and Haven't had any aquarium experience prior to it except feeding the goldfish our class had in grade 2. I'd love to hear some tips on how to improve the look besides maybe trimming some of the dying plant leaves lol.

Sorry for bad quality photos, Taken from my mobile phone since my dad brought the digital on his trip.

Sponge Filter is in the centre developing a Bacteria Population for my Breeding Tank.

beats the heck out of my original set up with ceramics and live plants....

but here... My first tank will be fully planted after i'm finished with my 38 gallon, and then we'll see :lol:
 
okay....

A: what are the tanks stats? (length/width/high/gallons)
B: what fish ya got?
 
meh not brilliant stocking but far from the worst we've seen!! With adequate maintenance it could work :good:

I think it looks good, i like the pile of stones in the middle, when the plants fill out it'll be nice, I'd put the cabomba all together nad the vallis all together, maybe put them next to each other with a few of eahc oen spilling over into the other if that makes sense. Plants generally look better if you keep them in groups together. :good:
 
Okay an update on my tank, Just some photos I took 5 minutes ago turned out quite well I thought, used my digital camera as my dad has returned.

One With 2nd tube on as well

great first time tank.do you know what kind of plants you have in the other pictures.the long thin flowy ones i mean.
 
Yeah, It is a Straight Vallis, I have an Amazon Sword, Ludwigia, A Crypt, and I'm not sure about the other plant but I think it's cabomba. I'm probably going to get some anubias to tie onto the driftwood and possibly add one more crypt.
 
why would you get flammed isnt all that bad of a stock? thats a far far far far better setup them my first one! your tank looks awsome aswell! :hyper:

The new pics look really great :good:

The only thing i can criticize is how the rock blocks out that lovely piece of bogwood, although i know ur using it to hold it down.. theres no way to move it more to the back?.. whatever floats your boat :D its your tank.. do what you like lol

Great job :D hope to see more from you.. only a while before MTS hits... muahahah lol
