Id Help

Can anyone id this fish for me ? I bought him/her a while back from a small shop, it looked so lonely in a small tank. It's 5-6" in size.

I tried, without sucess to post it in the African cichlid section ( my first try at adding a photo ) so if any Mods read this I'd be grateful if they could move it. Thanks.
