Nice looking tank, i love the Trigons. What were you thinking of changing to?

Looks like a nice setup to me, although i cant see any fish. I used to always be in the tank, messing around with it because i just wasnt quite happy with how it looked. I then realised i will never be quite happy, i might as well just enjoy it for what it is - a beautiful underwater landscape. So i suppose i am trying to say sit back and enjoy what you have created. :)

Yea, that bogwood thing you said is good, Make sure its a nice big peice that rests on the back, Tie some anubias nana on it, Also some java fern on it, Put rocks around the wood on the tank bottom, and sort of build it up around the bogwood using different rock sizes. Then put gravel in bettween the rocks.

Then you can plant it in the rest of the space, also more rock formations around the plants,

do u think slate will look good?

i've the 350, cos of my fish I can't do it properly planted, but what i'm planning is get 2 big bits of bogwood and rest the against the back of the tank, get a few smaller pieces and build it up so it looks a bit like a root system, somewhere for them to hide and play. tie some anubius, java fern and java moss to the wood so it gets some nice green covering. then I've a slate cave Ian built me to go infront, surrounded by other bits of slate and nice rounded river rocks and that's about it basically. But mine's got an Oscar in so needs loads of swimming room so I can't build up too much. If I had smaller fish in it I'd love to build up right in the middle of the tank a bit root system and very densley plant it, think it'd look lovely :good:
