Hi all
Annoyed at myself. Had this plec some months now and he has always had these gold markings - just been looking at Planet Catfish and I notice none of the fish in the Rubbernose entry have them. Looking through the diseases it seems to fit velvet? (Although I haven't found a pic of velvet anywhere thats good enough to confirm)
The tank was treated a month or two back for Ich, but had no effect on these markings.
Could someone take a look and verify for me. Many thanks in advance
(Just a quick note, plec is and always has been active and is not at all shy (hes on the front of the glass as usual on this pic) ). The only symptom he displays (and it goes with velvet) is he sometimes hurls himself against the glass in a sideways twitch motion (although I've never seen him brush his sides or top against anything, only his underside
