You know how it is, you leave the house with a list of things you need from your lfs and tell yourself you CANT POSSIBLY come home with anything else this time..

So i got up and went to trimar earlier. Had planned on getting some guppys. Got there, and whats the very first fish i see? yups! Bettas... loads of them. I was in heaven lol. One little guy really stood out though. How could i say no to the little fella? in his likkle tank, looking at me with those 'take me home' eyes.

hes now at home, exploring his new tank and flaring at anything that moves lol. ill post some pics up within the next few hours

I try and avoid actually going in to a lfs with bettas or if I do go in one with bettas I go in one that treats them well so i don't feel sorry for them!,
Can't wait to see the pics!

Ha Ha Animation you sound like me...I go in the fish shops, thinking please dont have bettas or have really happy ones, in lovely clean water...dont let them look at me...trouble is near where I live they seem to have them in all the aquatic shops at the same time...been good today though...bit superstitious...got 12 at the moment if I get another...do you get my drift?

okay!!! so ive been looking for our digicam all day only to find out its been lent to a friend! arrggh! so out cam the crappy webcam, cue some very blurry piccies! <will add better ones when digicam is returned!>

btw i need some name suggestions. also..anyone know of some girly friends he may be interested in?

ok so i managed to grab some snaps of him today. theyre pretty crappy mind you. here he is prancing around his tank and play with those much loved bubbles!
