Whats This? Its Not....is It?

Has one of my fish "spawned".

If so what next??

Can't really tell from that (out of focus) but if it looks like a blob of jelly ~1 cm across at its widest point, and is filled with small white specks, then it is a snail egg mass. Keep or remove depending on whether you like snails or not.

Better picture. Now secured when I went down the Red Cap was feasting so only about half what there was.

Would be about 5cms cubed.

However, I only have one snail, a Giant Ramshorn which unlike most snails is not asexual and therefore wont lay eggs as it can have mated with anything.

Looks too big to be goldfish eggs. Maybe take some out and put in a tub and see what hatches.
