Cichlid Need Identifying

Looks like a Blue Acara to me too.
I had one until recently but he got too big. :-( Went to the LFS where I took him back to and he looked great posing in a bigger tank. 8)
 
I just did a search on google using those two names you guys gave me, but they dont match the ones in my tank. I will try and get some better pics later tonight, because those are a lil dark.

It does look simular to the one u have just shown me, but its more colourful and the shiny light blue spots under the eyes are much brighter. Also there is a yellow/orange line going across the top of their top fin.

That mate is a blue acara how big is it ? looks young, also what's your light set up ? reason i'm asking is if your lights are bright you will get more benefit from it because the acaras colours will come out more.
 
I have 3 of them, ranging from 1.5in to 3.5in. I have 1 light in there, which is a Triton 38W 42in. Whats the best sort of light for plant growth and for colour enhancement in fish???

its a cross bettwenn a green terror and a blue acara (im not kidding either) its to long and thin for an acara but to small to be a GT, hope this helps
