flautist, he may be a spade tail, or part. very uncommon, but supposedly how bettas appeared when they first began appearing in pet shops. not much info on this tail type.

Wow! Some really beautiful bettas! I haven't really looked into keeping any because I don't know much about them other than they need to be kept separate, but after seeing those I may have to think about a few in the future to have around the house to color things up! Kudos to the photographers
