Can anyone tell me if this is a Bristlenose or a Rubbernose? I did buy it as a Bristlenose. But after looking at some rubbernoses, it does look like it could be either. There are no bristles visible, but it could just be a female, plus it is only about 2.25"....

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks

That looks very much like my female bristle nose did, when it was younger (before the bristles came out)

I have a 'rubber nose' plec as well, and they are normally grey, and have armour like markings.

But the mouth looks nowhere near like the ones i've seen, pft my poor advice again!
I don't really know what a rubbernose looks like but it looked like it has a very weird mouth, therefore I thought it was a rubbernose.
Sorry,
Neal :good:

i originaly had 2 BNs but one died. Untill it died the one pictured never grew in the time we had it while the other was grwing at a fast rate. Now the other has gone this one is growing fairly fast! Any idea why?
