Bizarre Plec Pics

Plecs you gotta love em, I thought I’d share some of my plec pics & ask a question I’m pretty sure mine don't eat snails but is normal for them to pick up snails in there mouth & roll em about like they would a algae wafer?

Actually, mine sometimes graze on the backs of the big snails, they sometimes pull them off the glass but I don't think that is intentional, the snails just lose their grip with a big ole plec hanging onto them.

The plecs soon put them down.

Hi SuzieQPlecMama it would seem the bigger of my two plecs does appear to actively seek the snails on the floor, glass, or plants & will pick them back up again if it does drop them; infact the only snail to be eaten by my clown loaches was one that had been the plecs play thing, what ever it done seem to damage the shell enough to give the clown loaches the scent of snail.
