i just love this pic of one of our yoyos lucy keeping a beady eye on me from one of her 'houses'
thankfully the furry green algae has now gone.

I think the algea looks good on that rock too. YoYo Loaches are awesome. I recently got 4 to replace the 4 I lost a while back. They are full of personaility.

How do you encourage algae like that to grow on rocks and wood?

I believe you can buy algae after that I would assume that you just tie it to the rock or something and it would grow onto the rock, I had algae in my tank after I added a CO2 kit.
