Hello

I need suggestions for a background plant. My lighting is 2 WPG. The plant would go to the left behind the bogwood.

Sorry for the bad picture :(

Hey thanks

The funny thing is i was actuallly thinking about the broadleaf amazon plant to put in aswell :)

Before i didnt really like the look of Cabomba, but on second thoughts it would actually go quite nicely at the back left corner, especially with the black background.

Ive asked my Mum and she prefers the Cabomba to the Vallsneria Spiralis.

Heres what i plan to do:

What you think?

Thanks

even tho u say "Small amazon swords" they may still grow and in my experience will be larger overall than the java furn. Therefore i suggest you swap the fern and swords around.

i have had a go myself, in a rush so its not neat!

Hello, thanks for taking the time to help

Umm...i understand the reasoning behind your suggestions, about the Small Amazon Swords. However the plant seems to be splaying out rather than going up. Also on your revised plant layout i dont see where they are ment to go. :/

About the Anubias i have heard that it can go on wood and stuff but it really doesnt seem like the plant to. I didnt mention that it was Anubias barteri also known as Giant Anubias. And in my opinion it wouldnt really work on the wood being a plant that grows really tall.

I also forgot to mention that the Java Fern is actually on two semi buried lava rocks tied together :) On the bogwood that you are suggesting they are tied to doesnt seem thick enough. I mislead you with the diagram.

So far i'm going with this:

Thanks again for the ideas
