hi i got a "BLUE" lobster can anyone identifly it?

possibly a Procambarus clarkii
Louisiana Crayfish max size 20cm
temp range 10-22C
but more likely a Cherax destructor
Yabby from Australia
max size 20cm temp range 12-22C

Well I can tell you the Yabbies in my dam are a pretty blue with a red claw (red claws) and pet shops do sell these here in Aussie....and does not really look like him....but they are like anything else many types.....not much help..sorry

all of the above mentioned 'lobsters' are illegal in the UK.

he will be a Cherax quadrucarinatus which grow to around 12"

very nice pets when they get used to you.

That's a nice looking lobster. I wish my LFS even supplied lobsters. A blue lobster is actually what they say, blue. I have no idea what it is, but either way, it's still a nice one.
