So this female is way cute, she does this all the time.

Another girly:

Finally, a male! Yeah, this was the best photo I got… >_> Wasn't even of my favorite guy.

See, this is what the males do when the sun shines in my room and gives me enough light to take photos. I had to use the flash to reveal the little buggers. Oh, and there’s the cichlid.

Well at last I can confirm that my Smaragdina are right, they don't look at all like the male on the IBC site which puzzled me but I thought maybe it was because they were young. Thing is I know that one is definately a female because of the ovipositor but I haven't seen anything like it on the other one but then again it doesn't look anything like the male on the IBC site either but the colour and markings are different and the female is always chasing it around

Do they practice role reversal where the female chases the male

I'll have to get a photo of them both and you can judge for yourself, maybe they are both females or just too young to show proper.

Amerce, I think like 3 inches. The IBC's website says for sure.
