Adoption Coming...blue/green/turq...

Well, I have sold most of my eldest two current spawns, but before they are all gone I thought I would put a couple from this line up for adoption...

I only have a few left! They are 3mos one week now...I would like to let them go in another 2+ weeks for shipping, though the rest are already gone having sold regionally.

I can ship them in Canada (where I am), possibly USA - with heat, packing etc. etc .

Here is what remains of my VxM29 spawn..... All these are SD, with HM and butterfly geno from papa. Mama was a turq SD, fish are from thai stock bred through Marianne Lewis and Tim Arndt so these are truly top quality fish from some of the top breeders lines. They are F2's. For those who care about such things, I have also bred their parents more than 4x together and both have fab nestcare (including the female being a nest builder and caretaker) and are super easy to spawn. A young pic of daddy are 3.5 months is avail, I'll post one of mom too if you are interested.

Though dad is HM, the ones I have left are not HM but close with great finnage. Also, though NONE of this spawn turned out BF, they are geno BF from Dad. They are also highly metallic/irridescent and the glassly pastels are CLEAN.

4 females, all have 4 branches or more. Two turq (one is missing or has teeny ventrals), One glass irridescent (lavendar) and one aqua glass too.

I have one male left! His name is rags, he has the slightest fringe on his fins, which are lovely SD. He could easily grow alot more finnage too...he has a great personality and is a royal blue.

None of these fish carry reds or wash. pure blues from pure lines. I have taken the best male and female who are totally in love with each other)

I also have one itty bitty female who I call Itsy Bitsy. It was the runt and I will toss her in the lot with any adoption for free. She is turq, lovely and healthy but teeny)


All raised on live foods (microworms, BBS, BS, bloodworns, grindals and whiteworm) and supplemented with high-quality dry such as Hikari biogold.

Oooh, and if any of you take a betta and also are into livebearers, I have 4 month old really quality berlin swordtails, unsexed, ready to go too can ship at once..Black metallic with red fins.

Female #1 - 'Chomp', aptly named as she was my dominant female in the growout. Much more mellow now, she has the teeny ventrals. VERY royal. lovely girl

(They hated having their photos taken in that bright light, hehe) She is a good match for her brother, Rags. I have not been able to scare a flare from her so she is more scared than anything in the pic) Sorry for the grainy pic



The aqua pastel, she really is a looker. She also blows bubblenests I call her Pearl. I know, goofy, I name most of them

This is the Lavendar pastel, its more of a lilac actually. Super shiny always barring. I named her Glass

okee, here are the two I kept. The female is super masculine. She 'dragon faces' all the time, but only for her loverboy) She is a really longfin female, I am interested to see how long they end up especially as she is still so young, Full mask, no black on her. Aqua, barred up almost constantly. She was mad at me in the pic, no flaring)

okay finally the boy. Sorry could not get a great pic he was darting around like a madman.

He is very nice royal. No wash, and his caudal is broader than it looks in the pics.
If you are interested in him just pm me an offer. I woud suggest you take a spawn sibling too as that is a quick and easy way to an F3 already.

I'm not sure you understand how the board works. It takes alot of time to upload a series of pics and write descriptions with them, not to mention the flood control and the filespace limit makes you have to wait between posts. As you see below, I added the male. PM if interested pls.

Aww Fawn, they are so beautiful! You got a lot of variety there, I love the glassy females. I'll definitely want dibs on at least a pair of the babies from the sibling pair you have now! I'm hoping to do an F3 with 2 pairs of my juvies, then keep the best male and female from those spawns and outcross them... I think your lines would mix really well with mine.

Good luck with the girls, I'm SURE there is no shortage of homes for them smexy Bettas! You might want to PM Ashley (Ohmydog), as she lives in Canada and breeds.

Bettabum, I hope you can get the boy!!! I would LOVE to see the outcome of his lines and my girls... you'd get lots of BF, as the Daddy of the girls you're getting is BF

Thanks splashstuff! I was really surprised that this spawn had alot of pastels, mostly females. The same thing popped out of them in the spawn before - so I guess something is telling me to start a clean pastel line ) But right now I am going to focus more on the CT purples, too bad the lavendar is not a CT

YAY, I'm SO excited!!!

I will take all 4, but not the runt. I really wish I could take her, she's SO adorable, but I don't have any room for another tank, and I worry that she would be picked on too much in the sorority tank.

I'm bidding on a lovely little bi-color crowntail female right now on aquabid that will go in with these 4.
