Hi, I just want to see what people's ponds look like so I can get an idea of what its like.

If you could, pics of equipment and your basic routine would be good :D

Thanks :D

Mad duff, thats the exact type of pond i was thinking of building.. does the wood just hold it all in or are there bricks or something in there?

I expect the bricks are holding up the scaffolding wagon, and the wheels are on ebay.. :p :p :p

The scaffold boards run length ways around the outside as you can see and the boards on the inside run vertically. The inside boards are screwed from the inside of the pond out over and each corner joint has 6" screws holding them.

The scaffold poles are sunk in around the pond to add support.

The pond is dug down to around six feet.

Squid - I don't know what you mean

Lovely ponds everyone!
you are making me so jealous!
I would love to have a pond for my shubunkins but will probably be moving house in a couple of years and dont know if its worth putting one in or not yet! Altho I am almost convinced that I should now!

Well when I say I'll put it in I will beg the better half to do it!

I have a veery low tech set up - basically just an old tin bath. This has been pretty frozen for the last 6 weeks - only defrosts if the temp rises a bit - not happened much recently(I hate winter)

By the way there are no fish in there and never will be, so please don't tell me off for cruelty!

I have it in the garden with a small fountain and some plants - actually looks pretty effective in the summer.

No point for a picture compared to everyone else's LOL
