Our Newest Family Member - Cubby

Cubby is a few months old now, and is a little monster, but so damn cute.

He is a lilac shaded silver burmilla.

my best friend has a Grand champion Burmilla (Caramel Silver Tipped) named Spike.
I don't remember his show name but it had Lahore in it.
Burmillas make one of the best pet cats, IMHO, although they can be very vocal at times

We got burmillas because we don't allow them out of the house. We are renting a 2 bedroom townhouse/villa, and didn't want large cats.

What we did want was affectionate palyful cats who could cope with being independant during the day while we are at work. They can be hard to find here in australia. Grover is not purebred. His mothe is a burmilla X and dad was a burmese, so he's at least 7/8th burmilla.

The-Wolf - you are correct about them being vocal. Cubby talks back whenever he hears his name, and niether are shy about telling you that they want attention. My partner has all but lost herpillow on the bed of a night because they insist on sleeping above her head.

Oh: and cubby's registered name is "Shezarda Silver My Cubby"
