nope, i've got 2 a rifle exactly like that one and a pistol. theyre air powered so legally fine.
comes into the same classification as a paintball gun daft i know as mine can easily smash a jam jar or go through both sides of a baked bean can. i wouldn't fancy getting shot by it.

No permit or licence required for anything air powered you do need a licence for ALL other stuff ...Oh and no pistols allowed at all

The only way these could kill somone is from led poisoning. Otherwise, they just cause alot of pain. Maybe if someone was shot in the eye it could go to their brain.... i doubt it could kill someone with one shot. The rifle is also shoots one bullet at a time, so i have to break the barrel down and put a pellet in, then cock it back up to load it.

I had a couple pellet guns similar to that years ago. One was a pump up type that was very powerful. My dad used to squirrel hunt with it. The other just worked like an air rifle and you had to break the barrel down to load it like yours. Not nearly as strong. It would just lodge under the skin and cause a nasty infection kind of like the BB gun in National Lampoon's Vacation where Chevy Chase shot John Candy in the rear. (Yes I like sick comedy movies and if you look at my profile you will see that my wife has named 2 of our bettas after Chevy Chase characters in movies, actually 3 but one (Ty from Caddy Shack) died)
Tell that to the mother of the 5 year old kid who got shot in the head by some no mark who thought it was fun to shoot at people from his bedroom window.

Yes, they do kill people. In Scotland last year a two year old boy was shot by an air rifle being aimed at Firemen tackling a blaze, and later died as a result of his injuries. Most air rifles can kill. It depends on the pellets used, and the muzzle velocity of the weapon. My air-rifle has the highest useable muzzle velocity of any currently avaliable, and I would guess at it being capable of going clean through your upper arm tissue, and out the other side at thirty feet range.
They are not toys, be safe guys, use lead backed targets against a closed end range. Otherwise bad things can- and do- happen.

Oops for some reason when black angel said they kill people i thought she/he ment INSTANTLY kill. Yeah someone could deffinatly die from injurys. Babies can die especially because their skull is not fully grown yet and still is soft...
