Well as alot of you know I got a 55g and tommorow I'll be building the stand and getting the rocks and decor. So pics please :hey:

Nice tank. Do you not like artifical or real plants because I think it could make those tanks look better.
 
The top tank is a 55 gal. This is a picture taken from like 4 months ago so they look a bit different now.

Nope.
I don't want to replant all the plants every day...
And I have seen so myself, they take out and ruin everything they can get their greedy little hands on.

Yep thats malawi cichlids for ya! You may wanna add a bunch of rocks though to recreate their native habitat. Since there seems like theres not too many cichlids in there though you dont really need the rocks. When you start putting alot of mbunas in a tank, thats when you wanna do that piled rock style.
 
you may want to attach some java fern/ java moss to those rocks as a nice "warm" plant accent and then you don't ahve to worry about digging up or even tearing up as those plants are rather sturdy, just tie the plants on w/ some nice cotton thread and you'll be set to go and have a bit of a plant accent in there.

I cant post any pictures of mine someone stole it. I love all of your tanks. THe last photo is killer. I love the set up. All of the rest of the tanks are cool also..
