I was unhappy with how my tank looked, so I revamped it this week. Here is a before and after shot. All plants are fake, except for the hornwort. I am considering removing the red plants (they aren't as red as they look in the picture) to get a couple live plants. Comments are appreciated.

Different color light, or did you change the substrate? Either way, the bottom picture looks really sweet.
 
No tricky camera work here, lol.

I changed the substrate from white medium sized gravel to a finer earthier color. I also replaced my flourescent light from the hardware store with an AquaGlo 1800K tube.
 
Your tank looks really great for a 10 gallon :thumbs: Your red substrate makes it look like its laterite.

Post some pics after you get live plants too...
 
now see if that's how EVERY fake plant tank looked everyone would have fake plants, A+ job on the aquascaping w/ the fake plants it looks super I was trying to do something like that with a 20 long but didn't turn out near that good.

I bought some more hornwort and a java fern, then I removed the bigger red plants. Here is the latest pic:
