Ember Tetra for me B-) These are some of the greediest fish I've ever seen for their size and I love them

Don't think she has laid eggs, I can't see any anywhere :/ I have no way of seperating her either :( If it continues is it ok to just keep 1 male on it's own should I need to rehome her? ... he's so chilled out and doesn't bother anyone (I'm Loops' b/f by the way) :good:

Why not use sand ... from Argos, cheap as chips :D I wouldn't use Gravel from the beach myself :/

I've waited pretty much an hour ... probably 45 minutes actually :P still nothing :( I'll give it another go at some point but I won't hold my breath :( I'm running a tiny internal filter in there, is it just a case of drilling a small hole in the side and shoving the tubing in? whereabouts...

Thanks again :) I tried the 2nd diffuser I had and the tubing seemed to be a lot tighter on this one ... it wasn't popping off anyway ... compared the 2 and there was a bit of a difference in size :rolleyes: Anyway I waited ages and nothing ... I've a feeling like you said there's not enough...

I had a problem with snails too a few weeks back ... I bought 2 Asassin snails ... they didn't really help at all, I've only ever seen them eat 1 snail :rolleyes: they just sit there most of the time. Then I started picking them out every water change or just everytime I saw them on the glass...

Thanks for the reply :good: I don't have any trouble getting the tubing on however, the reason I broke it because I was trying to get it down too far and was squeezing the glass probably (I'm heavy handed) :rolleyes: It's as if the tubing is actually too wide ... what happens to normal...

I've just purchased 2 glass nano diffusers from Ebay (Hong Kong) to use with my DIY Co2 mix in a 2.5g The tubing I'm using is from the Nutrafin kit thingy ... the one with the ladder but the ladder is too big for this little tank so went for these little bad boys B-) Well ... I did the mix...

I just crush them when I see them on the glass :P then drop them down in the tank ... the cories love them! Cutting down on feeding certainly helps though ... Asassin snails on the other hand ... useless in my opinion :rolleyes:

funny post :D , although this one ^ you could argue that he should have asked what fish he had in the tank before selling him the neons :unsure: Even my local P@H ask this now EDIT: Unless of course he did ask him ... but the customer didn't mention them? :P

I don't know how much the post would be? ... otherwise I'd get you a bottle and post it to you, Homebase round the corner from me who have it :good: Also, the dechlor, many people buy the pond stuff on here, lasts so much longer as you don't have to use as much :D

How have you had the Java Fern? ... I purchased some from Ebay and it came as stems :rolleyes: so there was no rhizome to tie it to the wood :S In the end I put staples in the wood and slotted the stems down into it :D they're doing great now with roots appearing If it does have the rhizome...
