i got stung about 18months ago, not a nice thing to happen.
my tank is acrylic and 36" wide and ide never ever go anysmaller than i have now. i sold my 8x4 because i had to but part of me still wishes i still had it.
ive had mine over a year now and i think its great. mine keeps my 2x sump pumps pumping for ages(over 2 hrs). just need a small generater for when the ups runs out.
i got a broken kids bubble tube the other day. the tube had cracked so it was no longer any good.
BUT, the air pump was fine and its only 12v. because its for kids use it has a small transformer that plugs into the mains but the air pump its self is only 12v. im keeping it for emergancy use...
hi mate, my lfs has a pair at 6" in tip top condition and there up for sale at £90 each which i think is expencive.
they should be worth £70/£80 each, as long as there fat, healthy and feeding well.
sadly i dont own this arowana any more. ive sold it to fund a new prodject.
the aro cost me £1200 when it was 6". i sold it for £1400 when it got to 15".
how big is the ray?
how long have you had it?
what type is it?
young rays are slightly pink underneath
what type of sand have you got in your tank now?
my ups is on my tank and it runs 2x 3000lph sump pumps and a 300w heater. it ran my tank for nearly 1 hr last power cut but i have no idea how much the heater came on if at all.
i love my ups and it gives me peace of mind when im not there in the even of a powercut.
my next step is a little...
