Novice fishkeeper but learning every day. I regularly read information on different fish species just as a hobby, I love learning about them. At the moment I have only ever had tropical tanks but my dream is to own a full marine/saltwater tank. I set myself a goal of saving £5k to ensure I can buy a suitable tank and the best equipment as this would be a tank of passion. One fish I would love to own is a Synchiropus Splendidus (Madndarin Dragonet) but I've only ever seen the Synchiropus Picturatus variety in my LFS (although this is also very beautiful).

At the moment I am down to one 20g long Freshwater tank having previously having as many as 7 tanks going at once; with a house move and a baby space and time became very limited. My current tank is a heavily planted one home to 6 Emerald Cory (which I adopted after a friend had a tank disaster), 4 Amano Shrimp (to which I will be adding) and it will eventually house a large school of Neon Tetra (a lovely underrated fish).
