It looks like my 2 plecos. My TLFs called it a "candycane" pleco but I think it is a clown pleco (Goto Planetcatfish for info). I Have had my for 6+years. They hide in plants all day or behind filter intake. I tought one of mine had died but he showed up after 6 weeks.

My LFS said it was a Syndontitis Niassae. Who big will it get ? Best food?

Here is my 7 in catfish "LEO" (One week in tank) with my Oscar. What is the best way to care for it? I know that i need to put food in at night or else oscar will eat it.

Thanks. I know i will need to remove plant latter. THere is no room for cories in 55 at this time. Each xp3 puts out 300+ gph, I have had "Max" for a month and the catfish "Leo" for a week. See picture. Max eats Beefheart, bloodworms, krill,peas, algae discs & pellets(Sometimes). Randall

After many years of fishkeeping. I got my first oscar. It is a tiger (Almost Solid Black) about 5 inches in length it is in my 90 gallon tank with a 7 inch Syndontis Decorus Catfish and 6 cory cats. I got 8 congo tetras last feb. They were about the size of my pinky at $4.95 each. Now a year later they are BEAUTIFUL in my 90 gallon tank. Any of you have Congos ? Comments?

I did a google search on fish tb and found that the list of symptoms fits what my fish show. Thanks for leading me too this conculsion. Randall
