Finished my fishless cycle in July 2011 now slowly stocking up....

Had a few surprises already with the tank including a full size adult dragonfly sat on my filter when I lifted the lid one night!! Never saw the nymph in the tank and not sure what it ate...

I had some baby minnows but think they all died when I went on holiday or been eaten by the dragonfly nymph! Added 3 Swordtails and then got a surprise when I saw 4 tiny fry swimming round amongst the plants as happy as Larry. Hopefully they are big enough not to be considered as food or at least they're big enough to escape to safety amongst the plants...

I've since found 2 more fry - they hide really well in the plants but I've managed to count 6 when feeding them baby brine shrimp!!

Update Jan 2012: 3 Swordtail fry survived and getting quite big! Added 2 Dwarf Gouramis....

Update Jan 2012: Added 3 Pepper Corydoras

Update April 2012: Moved house (!!) which was interesting to say the least moving the tank. Managed quite well even though I say so myself....no casualties yet!

Update May 2012: Added 6 Tiger barbs
