I am 20 years old and am currently attending Penn State University at their Berks campus.
I am majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I am currently planning to attend a Graduate school after I graduate from Penn State.
I would love to work at a company that is involved with aqua and/or mariculture of marine fish/corals/inverts, or at a University as a Biology teacher while doing research.

I have been keeping reef aquariums for around 5 years now. I think that this is by far, one of the greatest hobby in the universe. There are so many different thing that we learn through this hobby.
Not only do we learn about different species of fish, corals, and inverts, we also learn basic plumbing skills, water chemistry, photography, cabinet making, basic fluid mechanics, and probably know just as much, if not more about individual reef species and reef ecology than some scientists do. In this hobby, you NEVER stop learning.

Currently I have a 75 gallon mixed reef with a 30 gallon sump w/ a fuge.

I also just bought a 6 US. gallon JBJ nanocube with 18 watt 10,000K and actinic power compact lighting.
I plan on turning this into a "mini reef" with a variety of zoanthids/mushrooms and a few other small coral species.

Eventually I want to start working to convert my empty 55 gallon tank into a freshwater planted tank.

If there is one thing in this world that I dislike greatly, it is modern music!
There will never be any bands as good as Zeppelin, The Who, Beatles, The Cars, Steve Miller Band, Boston, Pink Floyd, Simon and Garfunkel.
There are very few bands that I like from my time but there are a few.

Thanks for stopping by!
"A human being is a part of a whole, called by us _universe_, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest... a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty." Albert Einstein
